I can’t wait until we go back and take Evee with us. I still think she’s a little too young to enjoy the experience, but definitely when she’s older. These photos are back from October 2021 when Brian and I went, hence the face masks.

Worth It?

Yes. It does get pricy if you have a big family, however, I think the price is justified and you’re supporting a small business. After an educational presentation and safety briefing, you get 20 minutes in the enclosure to hand-feed the reindeer, as well as a photo opportunity with one of them ( with your camera or phone ). While 20 minutes may not sound like a lot of time for some people, it is plenty of time to interact with the reindeer and walk around the entire enclosure.

Kid-Friendly?

All ages are welcome to visit the farm however there are age-related rules. Children aged 11 and younger are able to interact with the herd from behind a fence, known as “Cupid’s Corner,” and children aged 3 and younger MUST be held by their ticketed adult at all times. Children 12 and older will be allowed into the open enclosure to interact with the herd freely. They recommend the experience for children 8 years and older and children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

I recommend waiting until you think your child is old enough to enjoy and appreciate the experience as well as has good listening skills - the reindeer at the end of the day, are animals and you want to have your child be able to treat them with respect and be able to follow instructions so everyone can enjoy themselves.
